In 1959, Thomas Sr. opened his first pizzeria on Milwaukee's south side. Located at 11th and Mitchell, Pulo's Pizza featured traditional New York style thin crust pizza. Thomas Jr. and Peter bring back a classic name to a familiar side of town. Pulo's Pizza is back, located at 16th & Oklahoma, offering the same great pizza, along with some new menu selections.

How long have you been in business?
The business was started in 1959 by Thomas Pulos, Sr. The family retired in the 1990's. Thomas, Jr. And Peter decided to reopen the family business in 2011.

Great pizza!
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Our grandfather started the family business. Ken Pulos, our father, continued the pizza tradition until retiring in the 1990's. All of Ken's children worked in the restaurant from young on. It is now a part of who we are.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have the history of 50 years in the business. Our experience has perfected our product. Our name has become recognized for fine quality and service.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
