What is your primary product or service?
Audiology and speech-language services for children and adults with hearing loss. We also offer amplified phones, TV listening systems and other products to help individuals hear and communicate better. Sign language and lipreading classes are also offered throughout the year.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
The Center began as a support group for adults who were Deaf or Hard of Hearing and has grown into a full-service agency for individuals of all ages, with all degrees of hearing loss.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
CCHD offers a full spectrum of communication options for individuals with hearing loss, from sign language to Auditory-Verbal Therapy. We are a one-stop-shop for products, services, and information to help individuals hear and communicate better.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our offices are located in West Allis, but many of our programs serve individuals throughout Wisconsin.

CCHD is a private non-profit organization and is run by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Center's Executive Director is Dorothy Kerr.

The Center is open 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
UniversaLink, the Center's hearing products store, is open 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday - Friday and on Wednesdays, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
